 Salty Jaw Charters has been grinding away in some tough conditions of late, it’s been a unusually wet winter to say the least. We’ve been catch lane and mangrove snapper along with sheepshead in good numbers out in the Gulf of Mexico. The Backwater fishing around Boca Grande has been producing lots of trout,snook and redfish with a Few pompano mixed in from time to time.

Fall Fishing at its finest!!! Salty Jaw Charters has been bending rods and making memories in beautiful Charlotte Harbor. We’ve been catching redfish, snook and trout in the backcountry and hitting the snapper and mackerel in the Gulf of Mexico.
Still have some a few openings in December so give us a shout for a fun adventure on the water! Capt. Jesse Beye Salty Jaw Charters has been staying busy catching the mighty silver king with Lots of tarpon still cruising around the beaches of Boca Grande. More and more snapper are coming in the bay and the trout and snook fish still remains strong. We’ll we’ve been in a stretch of high winds this week so the tarpon fishing has been on hold. But the snook fishing is on point with good numbers on trips with a few good sized ones mixed in. We’re starting to see some nice mangrove snapper move into the bay along with schools of Spanish Mackerel. Still have a few opening so give us a call at Salty Jaw Charters to make some memories on the water.
Fishing has been rock solid!! Lots of trout and snook in the backcountry around Boca Grande and Little Gasperilla Island. The Tarpon fishing has really heated up this last week with more and more fish pushing in daily. Still have some dates available over the next couple months some come get in on the action!
Had the pleasure of fishing with long time client and friend Russ Bayner on his 80th birthday this year. We got into some smaller triple tails while breaking in my new motor along the beaches. Lots of great fishing to be had this winter in between the cold fronts chasing grouper, mackerel, snappers, sheepshead in the Gulf of Mexico. We’re seeing decent numbers of redfish, snook and spotted seatrout in and around the backcountry of Charlotte Harbor as well.
 The weather has been spectacular here in southwest Florida hanging out in the upper 70s most the week. The fish have been fired up with the warmer temps catching good numbers of trout and redfish in the back waters. The Gulf of Mexico has provide good action on snappers, sheepshead and triple tails around Boca Grande and Manasota key. Lots of good fishing to be had this January come book a trip with Salty Jaw Charters this new year.
October has been a hot month for just about every species but the the front runner has to be the redfish. Lots of big schools of redfish are still in the area and if you can find them your day will be epic. The snook fishing around Manasota key and Boca Grande is still on fire along with trout and big Jacks. In the next month with cooler temperatures we should see bunches of king and Spanish mackerel around Manasota key and Boca Grande.

Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters Fishing has been awesome of late, catching everything from big trout and snook in the backcountry to kingfish and sharks in the Gulf of Mexico. The water temperature has finally climbed up to 80 degrees which has the fish fired up ready to go first thing in the morning. The tarpon have started to trickle in decently around Boca Grande, Manasota Key and up into Charlotte Harbor. In the next couple weeks Boca Grande will be covered up with the silver kings heavy so come bend a rod with Salty Jaw Charters.
