The wind has been relentless this winter as we have had a lot of cold fronts pushing through Florida, but we have been able to hide in along the mangrove islands, which has been producing nice catches. Most trips we have been catching all three targeted species: redfish, snook and trout with most charter exceeding 50 fish caught.

It is a great time of year to fish in the Boca Grande area with comfortable weather to enjoy throughout the day! The cooler temperatures have moved the fish into deeper channels and creeks. They will be moving slower to conserve energy so we work the bait and lures a bit slower as well. Fishing in these areas we are catching snook, redfish, trout and snapper.
Around the docks and bridges we can expect to find sheepshead and some decent sized blackdrum. A great variety of fish can be caught during the winter season - the only part missing is you. Looking forward to getting you on the water soon! Call or email to book your trip for the Boca Grande area. -Capt. Jesse Beye The redfish trout and snook bite has been on fire the last few days as they are crashing on shrimp, pinfish and various artificial lures. Here are a few pics from our day where we had multiple double and triple fish on at once.
Capt. Jesse Beye Salty Jaw charters ended grouper season with a bang with multiple days with a bunch of keeper gag grouper. As we Hunker down for our first major cold front of the year we can look forward to great up coming fishing. Sheepshead will start to invade our docks and nearshore wrecks along with lots of redfish that will be pursuing crab, shrimp and pinfish on our many grass flats.
