It’s been a windy spring to say the least but Salty Jaw Charters has been out bobbing around making memories. We’ve been restricted to mostly fishing in the bay and mangrove island a catching lots of snook redfish and spotted seatrout.
On the calmer days we’ve been chasing Tarpon and hooking into some big king mackerels around Boca Grande and Manasota Key. Everyday more and more Tarpon will be invading our waters so get a trip booked ASAP. Scott Hocking and his dog Skipper have been coming out once a week over the winter to chase these beautiful Redfish Charlotte Harbor has to offer. We’ve been throwing mostly artificial lures and catch lots of trout with some Reds and snook mixed in from time to time.
As we creep into spring our water temperature will start to rise, more schools of bait will show up along with more predator species. Salty Jaw Charters still has some prime Tarpon dates available so book your Boca Grande Tarpon adventure today. October has been a hot month for just about every species but the the front runner has to be the redfish. Lots of big schools of redfish are still in the area and if you can find them your day will be epic. The snook fishing around Manasota key and Boca Grande is still on fire along with trout and big Jacks. In the next month with cooler temperatures we should see bunches of king and Spanish mackerel around Manasota key and Boca Grande.
So if your looking for a great time on the water give Salty Jaw Charters a call we’d love to get you out tugging on some fish. Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters Summer is here and it’s pretty hot just like the fishing!! With not much boat pressure on the bay now is the time to get after the schooled up redfish and mangrove snapper masses. Charlotte Harbor is absolutely loaded up with bait and the water clarity is the best it’s been in the last few years. So if you have time to get out Contact Salty Jaw Charter’s for some fun in the sun.
