October has been a hot month for just about every species but the the front runner has to be the redfish. Lots of big schools of redfish are still in the area and if you can find them your day will be epic. The snook fishing around Manasota key and Boca Grande is still on fire along with trout and big Jacks. In the next month with cooler temperatures we should see bunches of king and Spanish mackerel around Manasota key and Boca Grande.

Summer is here and it’s pretty hot just like the fishing!! With not much boat pressure on the bay now is the time to get after the schooled up redfish and mangrove snapper masses.
