Salty Jaw Charters had a epic day this week with the Norton family around Manasota Key. The crew put together multiple inshore slams of snook redfish and spotted seatrout.
The Fish have Been very active with very little fishing pressure which has generated days of very high catching totals. We still have a good amount of Tarpon around for those looking for tussle with a big game fish. The snapper fishing has been very productive in the Gulf of Mexico off the shores of Boca Grande and Englewood. In the next couple of months we’ll see big schools of redfish invade the backwaters and king mackerel out in the Gulf of Mexico. So don’t wait book a charter today with one of the areas best.

Had the pleasure of fishing with long time client and friend Russ Bayner on his 80th birthday this year. We got into some smaller triple tails while breaking in my new motor along the beaches. Lots of great fishing to be had this winter in between the cold fronts chasing grouper, mackerel, snappers, sheepshead in the Gulf of Mexico. We’re seeing decent numbers of redfish, snook and spotted seatrout in and around the backcountry of Charlotte Harbor as well.
The Snook fishing has been hot all summer long and now we’re seeing good numbers of redfish coming into the bay. A good amount of tarpon are still roaming the area between Boca Grande and Manasota Key if your wanting a big tug on the line. It’s hot down here in sunny Florida but so is the fishing so come book a trip with Salty Jaw Charters today.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters The Mangrove snapper, snook and trout bite has been amazing in the backcountry around Manasota Key and Gasperilla Island. Charlotte Harbor and it’s surrounding Beaches has been invaded with lots of schools of bait and the fish are absolutely loving it. There’s still a good amount of tarpon around if your looking for the big tug of a life time.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters Fishing has been awesome of late, catching everything from big trout and snook in the backcountry to kingfish and sharks in the Gulf of Mexico. The water temperature has finally climbed up to 80 degrees which has the fish fired up ready to go first thing in the morning. The tarpon have started to trickle in decently around Boca Grande, Manasota Key and up into Charlotte Harbor. In the next couple weeks Boca Grande will be covered up with the silver kings heavy so come bend a rod with Salty Jaw Charters.
