Had a great day with Scott Russel catching redfish and snook on soft plastics in the backcountry around Charlotte Harbor. Throwing mostly medium size jerk baits along shallow grass flats we were able to produce some nice fish.

Salty Jaw Charters has been getting into some great rod bending action around Boca Grande and Manasota Key. Pompano bite has stayed steady and we’ve been getting some redfish and snook to chase baits once the day warms up. Sheepshead should consume the bay any day now and as we rub closer to spring with warmer temps mackerel should start showing up again.
