Fishing has been red hot in Southwest Florida this last week and the weather has behaved nicely as well. Big snook mammoth Tarpon and broken hooks to match broken hearts on the big one that got away. This last week we got plenty of big fish autographs which made for lots of smiles.

After a windy start to Tarpon season the weather has finally gotten into favorable weather pattern and the number of fish caught per day has increased. It is full blown Tarpon season around Boca Grande with more and more showing up everyday. The fishing on the flats has been really consistent and will be for the remainder of the season.
