The snook bite has gone crazy this month !! Weve had a few cold fronts to slow down the bite a bit but when the weathers been warm the fish have been chewing. Snook and trout has been the top suspects in the back country of late and we’ve started to see some mackerel push into the bay as well. Once we see the water temps press higher it won’t be long and the tarpon will be rolling through to visit boca grande.

Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters Charlotte Harbor is very much alive and full of life these days with water temperature in the high 70s. On today’s trip around Boca Grande we saw multiple groups of dolphins chasing down fish and later in the day two different groups of manatees cruise the grass flats. The fishing in the backcountry and the gulf have been great with warmer temperatures and with the invasion of lots of bait to keep the fish happy.
