Fishing around Boca Grande continues to stay good with trout, snook and a few reds mixed in. Mostly fishing with soft plastics and live shrimp these too applications seem to provide the most action. On the horizon in the months to come the sheephead and pompano, snapper bite should start to get really hot.

Got on a solid redfish bite today with Walter Family it was great to see some big fish roaming the flats. We started out catching trout,ladyfish and jacks on artificial’s then decided to try for big fish with some live shrimp and it panned out. Stay salty my friends.

The trout and snook bite has been steady in Charlotte Harbour and around Boca Grande. When it hasn’t Been to windy the Gulf of Mexico has produced nice lane and mangrove snappers with some gag groupers mixed in as well.
