The fishing has been red hot this month with the water temps pushing into the mid 70s. The snook and trout have been very active chasing schools of bait eating live minnows and chasing our topwater plugs. Before long we will get our big tarpon migration so get the last few slot that are open in May and June!!
What a a gorgeous start to this week with weather in the 80s. This last weekend we had a cold front come through and the fishing was tough for a few days. But the fish were back jumping on the line today, couldn’t hardly keep the trout and ladyfish from jumping on the line.
We’re Catching lots of sheepshead and snapper in the Gulf of Mexico and that should continue steady for the next two months. Before long the mighty silver kings will be showing up to our shores so get your tarpon dates booked before they are all gone! The fishing has been on fire big schools of redfish have paraded into charlotte harbor making for some rod bending insanity. The mangrove snapper,snook and trout fishing are fallowing suit with lots of action on the right tides.
