The back country fishing has been awesome of late still seeing good numbers of snook and trout being caught along with a few reddish mixed in. The king and Spanish mackerel have showed up in the Gulf of Mexico off of Englewood and Boca grande and can be targeted when the wind conditions are right. Grouper and snapper fishing should get better and better as the temperatures start to drop.

Fall fishing is in full swing!! The back country fishing around Boca Grande has been unbelievable. Salty Jaw Charters has been catching a ton of snook redfish and trout on live minnows and artificial lures. The snapper fishing and the mackerel fishing has been really good along Gasperilla Island and Manasota Key and should continue to be hot all fall long.

As we press further into fall we should start to see our mackerel migration push into the area.
