Tarpon fishing is in full swing and the snook bit continues to be excellent as well. The weather pattern have been normal of late making for great fishing, I expect June and July to be on fire this year.

 The Kessel boys back at again first cast from Sr and he catches a 38 inch snook on a live minnow. The fishing has been pretty decent, trout and snook have been the front runners in the back country. When the wind is light the mackerel, shark and tarpon fishing in the Gulf of Mexico has been really good.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Inshore Fishing Charters Had Phil Kessle of the Pittsburgh Penguins out with his siblings and sister in-law the other day. It was a slow start but finally the wind switched and the snook became pretty active. The harbour is loaded with lots of bait and our mackerel fishing has been awesome. The tarpon fishing has been decent but we still don’t have all our fish, hoping this week they pour in hard.
Tarpon season is in full swing with more and more fish showing up everyday. The back country fishing has been very consistent of late as well producing nice snook big Jacks and trout. The Gulf of Mexico around Boca Grande has had acres of Spanish mackerel, probably the most I’ve ever seen in the area making every cast a catch possible.
