The Kessel boys back at again first cast from Sr and he catches a 38 inch snook on a live minnow. The fishing has been pretty decent, trout and snook have been the front runners in the back country. When the wind is light the mackerel, shark and tarpon fishing in the Gulf of Mexico has been really good.

The weather has been windy but Salty Jaw charters has been grinding out some decent numbers of fish. Once this hopefully final front rolls through the tarpon fishing should really heat up.

A few tarpon are starting to show up and it won’t be long before Boca Grande is covered up with them. So if you haven’t already booked some dates there are a few spots still open to hookup on a catch of a lifetime.
Tight lines..... Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters Spring is here in southwest Florida, water temperatures have been in the mid 70 consistently which has made for some great fishing. Live minnows have started to show up and as a result the fish have been very active.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters We’ve been battling with some weaker tides this week and as a result the fishing has been a little on the slower side, but still managing to catch some decent fish. The water temp around Boca Grande and Englewood has steadily been in the 70s which has been nice. Any day we should start to see schools of bait invading the grass flats and the fishing should to get fast and fierce as we press on into spring.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters We’ve been battling with some windy conditions but still managing to catch some good fish in the bay. The trout and snook bite has been steady in Charlotte Harbour and around Boca Grande. When it hasn’t Been to windy the Gulf of Mexico has produced nice lane and mangrove snappers with some gag groupers mixed in as well.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Fishing Charters Tammy and Scott Rainville catching some nice fish in and around the Charlotte Harbor Boca Grande area. We’ve had our first little front of the year to cool things down and it has more fish migrating into mangrove backcountry. We’re catching fish on a mixture of live minnows, shrimp and various artificial lures.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Inshore Fishing Charters Lots of fish to catch these days, the usual suspects snook, reds and sea trout. The water has been getting cleaner by the day which has been so nice to see. Our first cold front is hitting this Thursday which should push more fish into our backcountry to make the fishing even better. Last picture has a bald eagle keeping a watchful eye on my angler wait for a hook set and a smile.
Capt. Jesse Beye Boca Grande Backcountry Fishing Charters The weather and the fishing has been outstanding here in Southwest Florida with temperatures reaching mid 80s and having fifty to hundred fish caught on charters. The species most active have been snook, trout and jacks with some redfish, ladyfish and bluefish mixed in as well. Tripletail and cobia have started to show up in Gulf off of Boca Grande and we’re still waiting for our annual push of mackerel to come to our area, which should happen any week now.
